How we verify prices
Prices in this market change monthly and most "comparison" content is written by the sellers. Our answer is boring and operational: verify on a schedule, show our dates, and never let payouts touch the rankings.

Verification tiers#
Every row in the index carries a verification tier and a date. There are two tiers:
Every change to those figures is appended to the price history, and a build check refuses to pass until it has been.
- T1 — checkout-verified. We walk the provider's real purchase flow and record the true monthly cost, the first-month cost, and every fee we encounter (consults, memberships, shipping). T1 rows are re-walked at least monthly, and immediately whenever our monitoring detects a change on the provider's pricing page.
- T2 — published-price verified. We verify the provider's own published pricing and fee disclosures. Automated monitoring diffs these pages weekly and flags any change for human review.
Some providers only reveal their real price after a medical intake. We never submit fake medical intakes. Those channels stay T2, are labeled "price confirmed at intake," and we rely on documented reader reports and provider disclosures to fill the gap.
The three price-status labels#
Every price on this site carries one of three states, and they mean exactly what they say:
- ✓ checkout · date — a human walked the provider's real purchase flow to the last pre-payment screen on that date. The strongest label we issue.
- listed price · date — the provider's own published pricing, verified against their page on that date (with a screenshot in our evidence archive). Accurate as published; fees behind intake may still surprise.
- reported · date — sourced from concordant published reporting where the provider's own page blocks direct verification or conflicts with itself. Accurate as reported; re-checked against the provider at every audit cycle.
Staleness rules#
An active row that has not been re-verified within 30 days fails our publishing pipeline — literally: the site will not build with stale active data. Discontinued or unverifiable channels are labeled as such and kept for context.
True cost, defined#
"True monthly cost" means what leaves your account in a normal month: medication plus any required membership or program fee. Providers that charge a required monthly fee on top of the medication are shown at the combined effective price, with the breakdown on the row. Optional add-ons are noted but not included.
Ranking policy#
- Rankings and orderings are by verified price and stated criteria, never by compensation.
- No link on this site earns us a commission; a commission could never change a row, a rank, or a rating — disclosure.
- Notably: the cheapest options in this market (manufacturer direct-pay programs) pay us nothing, and they stay at the top of the table anyway. That's the point of the site.
- No provider can pay for placement, and no provider reviews our content before publication.
If you have insurance
This index is a cash-pay index. If you have commercial insurance, check your plan's coverage first — copays can be far below any cash price. If you're on Medicare Part D: since July 2026 the GLP-1 Bridge program offers Wegovy, Foundayo, and Zepbound at a flat $50/month copay through participating plans.
