Anna Faris: Workout

While preparing for her role as Playboy cast off in House Bunny, we reported that Anna Faris did a lot of Pilates and strength training to get her Playboy Bunny physique. Now, most recently, the Observe and Report star has revealed to People Magazine that she likes to get her cardio workouts in through hiking. She said,
“I really like to hike. I love the idea that it invites so much conversation with the people that you’re with [and] you end up having great talks. Before you realize that you’ve worked out hard, you’ve also had a great moment with your friends or whomever you’re with!”
The American Hiking Society lists many benefits to hiking: it decreases hypertension by dilating blood vessels, decreases cholesterol levels while increasing HDL (the good cholesterol), decreases weight by burning calories, improves bone density and prevents the ageing of the immune system. To burn heaps of calories while on a hike, load a backpack with weights to give yourself that extra challenge.
